Laura Lowery is an integral part of BFB&A's tax department, where her specialties are real estate and not-for-profit clients.

Laura has developed expertise in helping our not-for-profit clients minimize the tax implications of their unrelated business taxable income (UBTI), as well as preparing the proper disclosure of tax-exempt activities.

Her real estate focus is in the complex area of structuring and implementing like-kind exchanges for partnerships and individuals to maximize the deferral of gains.

Laura joined BFB&A in 2004, bringing seven years of experience with Arthur Andersen and KPMG.
